Private Chef
"Eat Food, Not too Much. Mostly Vegetables." ~Michael Pollan
When asked what he meant by "food", Pollan simply answered real food as in non-overprocessed fresh real ingredients. Just simple vegetables, fruits, whole grains and legumes, sustainable fisheries, and humanely raised/caught meats. This is what I prepare for my clients. Nothing Less.

Care for your Wood Wares
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, and dry with a clean cloth. Abrasive scrubbies and steel wood will scratch the surface and damage the finish.
Recondition your wood product with butcher block conditioner at least every 6 months, and whenever the wood looks dull or feels rough. Recondition more frequently during dryer months and in arid climates.
DO NOT put in the dishwasher, microwave, or oven.
Leaving standing water or filled with water will damage wood
DO NOT let wood completely dry out; regular oiling with conditioner is essential.
DO NOT use vegetable or olive oils to recondition your wood product; they may encourage bacteria growth.
Leaving fruits or vegetables to rot in the bottom of your bowl could cause discoloration or staining.
The above instructions are for all wood wares that are specifically for food use. To refresh any of the non-foodsafe pieces, i recommend a wipe down with a clean damp rag and wipe dry afterward. can recondition with a woodwax or butcherblock conditioner.
